The new teaching method with students‟ firsthand lesson planning would replace teacher-centeredness in the classroom. Small groups of students shared all the tasks of searching for materials, designing presentation slideshows of the lessons, delivering their presentations, and answering all the questions afterwards, all on their own. The teacher just worked as a facilitator, providing the students with necessary knowledge, explaining difficult parts, and summarizing main points which they should memorize. The most obvious influence was that students took an active role in doing research, thus unleashed their creativity in applying hi-tech in their lessons, promoted cooperation through group work, and enhanced their presentation skills. As a matter of fact, teachers are required to further continue lifelong learning, equip themselves with updated knowledge so as to satisfy students‟ study needs.
