Abstract

With over 200 years of development, the United States has risen to a leading position in all fields such as economy, science and technology, military. The secret of this success lies in a single word - "Education". The paper presents an overview of the concept of American pragmatism education, hoping to draw out some lessons for current Vietnamese education, help remove too academic, unrealistic, outdated contents and curricula, and quickly receive a dynamic, modern education for the purpose of development of the country.
