The article examines the concept of "lawyer" from the perspective of teaching Russian as a foreign language (advanced level), analying different aspects of this concept. The data for linguistic and cultural analysis include judicial speeches by F. N. Plevako. In addition, the article points out specific professional traits of the lawyer, helping foreign students to better understand the system of Russian cultural values.
