1. Information about the University's science and technology activities; information exchange between scholars, scientists and readers interested in the Journal's research fields.
2. Post scientific research results related to the field of foreign language and literature research. culture and interdisciplinary research on foreign languages to serve training, research and technology transfer in the field of foreign languages.
3. Operate in accordance with the provisions of the Vietnamese Press Law, the Law on Publishing, relevant current legal documents, the License of the Ministry of Information and Communications and the University's regulations.
Publication frequency
The Journal of Foreign Language Sciences (ISSN: 1859 - 2503) publish 4 issues per year in March, June, September, and December. All research and reports on Language Theory, Teaching Methods, Culture - Literature, and Translation published in the journal have undergone a standard content evaluation and review process.
JFLS uses Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open source software application originally developed and released by PKP in 2001, for managing and publishing scholarly journals.

In accordance with the Regulations on the Organization and Activities of the Journal of Foreign Language Sciences issued alongside Decision No. 2241/QD-DHHN dated November 1, 2021, by the President of Hanoi University, upon the proposal of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Foreign Language Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Journal), to enhance management and ensure quality in publishing both the electronic and print versions of the Journal, Hanoi University is implementing several new regulatory documents for the Journal.
