This article explores the specific features involved in teaching non-native students how to engage with literary texts within the specialized course entitled “Text Linguistics Analysis”. It highlights the significance of analyzing the semantic properties of linguistic units at various levels and understanding the interrelations among them. This article emphasizes the effectiveness of presenting literary text analysis as a system of stable authorial positions, through which aesthetically marked linguistic units are actualized. Such emphasis is illustrated through an analysis of stable authorial positions in a literary work named “The Pedagogical Poem” by A.S. Makarenko.
