This article proposes a structured sequence of instructional activities for using short films in teaching Russian as a foreign language. The author introduces a set of pre-viewing, whileviewing, and post-viewing tasks, thereby offering methodological recommendations for teachers on exploiting this type of authentic materials in the classroom, specifically for learners at the B2–C1 proficiency levels.
