This article investigates the difficulties faced by students of the Korean Language Department at Thu Dau Mot University in learning to speak Korean. Through the evaluation of qualitative data and descriptive statistics, the study identifies major difficulties such as a lack of vocabulary, insufficient grammar knowledge, inaccurate pronunciation, lack of confidence, and limited opportunities to communicate with native speakers. Proposed solutions to enhance the quality of learning include organizing training courses for teachers on modern teaching methods, increasing the use of technology in teaching, and diversifying practice formats, such as roleplaying and group discussions, to improve communication skills. These solutions will help students communicate more confidently in Korean and prepare for future career opportunities.
