KOREAN LANGUAGE TESTING AND ASSESSMENT AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FRAMEWORK OF REFERENCE FOR KOREAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

Along with the development of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, the demand for learning Korean language and culture as well as the demand for Korean human resources has skyrocketed. Therefore, Korean language proficiency assessment is becoming an urgent need. Through the consideration of theoretical issues related to the Korean language proficiency assessment, this article will emphasize the importance of developing a framework of Korean language proficiency for Vietnam aiming to improve the quality of training, and to determine the level of Korean human resources to meet market demand in Vietnam.
