Abstract

Russian grammar, including Lexicology and Syntax, lies in the most stable level of Russian language system. However, it is at this level that important and meaningful changes occur athough they are not easy to be recognized. When comes to lexicology, it is impossible not to mention word classes in which most changes takes place. Among the parts of speech, the widest fluctuations occur in nouns, then verbs, adjectives, pronouns and adverbs. Within the scope of this study, we discuss some changes in verbs – one of the most important parts of speech in Russian nowadays.
