Abstract

This article is designed as an overview of pragmatics in genuine question in English and Vietnamese. It focuses on: (i) the theoretical basis and necessary contents of a comparative-contrastive research on pragmatics in genuine questions in English and Vietnamese; and (ii) some methodological recommendations for conducting it.
