Abstract

This paper focused on Chinese-majored students’ career orientation at some universities in Hanoi. The data were collected from 509 Chinese-majored undergraduate students from 07 universities by means of a questionnaire to describe their career orientation, and analyzes their tendency in choosing jobs, workplaces, types of enterprises and expected initial salary as well as the difficulties and their plans to adapt to future careers. This paper then put forward some recommendations for assisting Chinese-majored students in overcoming the difficulties in career orientation.
