E-learning and blended-learning are innovative teaching and learning methodologies exploiting the use of information technology with the aim of encouraging teachers and learners to adapt to the new situation in the post-Covid 19 context. This study analyzes theoretical approaches and practical application of the flipped classroom (FC) model, one of the typical models integrating online and offline teaching, in the course "L'italiano nel turismo II” (Italian for Tourism II) for tourism students at the Department of Italian Studies, Hanoi University. On the basis of the analysis of statistical data obtained from questionnaires, this study makes some comments on the differences between traditional lessons and those of FC, as well as the benefits and drawbacks of FC in teaching Italian for Tourism.
