Abstract

The study examines the linguistic and cultural characteristics of reporting verbs in Russian and Vietnamese languages, of which declarative reporting verbs constitute the largest group. A descriptive and contrastive analysis of these verbs at the semantic level helps identify similarities and differences between individual lexical units in the Russian and Vietnamese lexical systems, thereby gaining insights into the distinct national characteristics of Russian and Vietnamese cultures.
